Terms of use
Last updated: 7 November 2026
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the FollowBrief app, published by Cd Corp. By using the app, you accept them.
2. The service
FollowBrief transcribes the conversation recordings you make in the app or import, produces a structured summary (key points, decisions, commitments, open questions, next actions) and helps you follow up (reminders, message drafts).
FollowBrief does not record phone calls: iOS and Android do not allow apps to do so. You can import a recording made with your phone’s own tool.
3. Your obligations
- Inform the people you talk to before any recording and, where required, obtain their consent. You alone are responsible for complying with the law that applies to recording conversations (in France, in particular article 226-1 of the Criminal Code and the CNIL’s recommendations).
- Only import recordings that you are entitled to hold and have processed.
- Do not use the service for unlawful purposes, or try to bypass its protections or quotas.
4. Automatically generated results
Transcripts, summaries, actions and drafts are generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions. Review them before relying on them, especially before sending a message or making a decision. Follow-up drafts are never sent without your action.
5. Your data
Your data remains yours and is stored on your phone. Its processing is described in the privacy policy. As it is not backed up on our servers, losing or replacing your phone, or uninstalling the app, means losing it: export what you want to keep.
6. Availability
We do our best to keep the service running continuously, without being able to guarantee it. Transcriptions are processed in order of arrival; the delay depends on the length of the audio and the server load.
7. Liability
We cannot be held liable for use of the service contrary to these terms, in particular a recording made without informing the people involved, or for a decision based on a result that was not reviewed.
8. Subscriptions
Paid plans are described in the terms of sale.
9. Changes and governing law
These terms may change; the version in force is the one published on this page. They are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge [mediator to be appointed] before going to the competent courts.
This English version is provided for convenience; the French version prevails.
